A while back a number of MTN Pulse customers subscribing to the Pulse Weekly Data Bundle subscription complained of issues with the plan. Specifically of getting 750MB instead of the applicable 1GB.
To address this, some new changes have been implemented on the subscription. Namely one, that if a customer on another tariff plan besides Pulse attempts to subscribe to the plan using P500 or via USSD, s/he will receive an error message.
Secondly, if the customer subscribes via 103 to 131, that customer will receive 750mb and not 1 GB. It should be noted however that all times the applicable code to dial in order to subscribe is *406*2*1# or *406# and to then follow the prompt.
Again it should be noted that all other business rules including the 7 days validity period for the 1GB remains applicable.
