HP had started the HP Pro line back then when Android tablets were still popular and it appears since tech companies have begun focusing more on smartphones, the tech company also went with the flow thereby making 2015 its last year for Android tablet release.
However, the tech company turned this around more recently as it took to the Indian market to release the HP Pro 8 tablet.
The Pro 8 tablet which is coming almost two years after the last tablet launch from the tech company is however not packing significant specs as the Pro 8 comes with thick bezels and a rather thick design of 11.9mm.
The Pro 8 which weighs in at almost 500g features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800px and a MediaTek MT8735 chipset under the hood.
The quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz is paired with 2GB of RAM and an onboard storage memory size of 16GB with support for microSD card for memory expansion.
The HP Pro 8 comes equipped with a rear 5MP camera and supports LTE networks. Powering the tablet is a whopping 6,000mAh battery with other connectivity options to include the 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB cable support at the top and the Android OS 6.0 running on it.
The tablet also comes with added specs to include fingerprint and iris scanner.
